OverView Gangneung Ojuk Hanok Village in Gangneung, Gangwon-do was created to promote hanok architecture and to spread the ideas of Joseon scholar Yulgok Yi I; close by is Ojukheon House, the home of Yi I and his equally famous mother Shin Saimdang. Many types of accomodation are offered including guestrooms, standalone houses, duplex rooms, and one room equipped with a bed and facilities for disabled visitors. There is even a small lecture hall for the use of overnight guests. Gyeongpo Lake and Gangneung Olympic Park (where PyeongChang Winter Olympics were held) are also nearby.
