OverView The Wildflowers and Old House Excursion in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do, was the family house of the late Joseon period scholar Choi Eung-seong. The sarangchae and anchae both contain two guestrooms and are rented out as houses, while the gate house and the annex both have two rooms which can be booked separately. Renting the entire house is also possible, although there are no catering facilities. Sitting in the Old House’s pavilion is enough to recreate that old-time hanok atmosphere. Guests can play traditional games and have a go at gathering wildflowers, and making traditional foods like injeolmi and lotus leaf rice.
